Vintage Toni Cavelti Plexiglass Encased Wired Sculpture
Toni Cavelti is a world-renowned master craftsman and artist. When he retired from jewellery design he began creating this wired sculptures that were crafted from one wire. The sculpture is encased in an acrylic box with a wood base. Signature will be required upon delivery.
History: Swiss-born, Cavelti opened his first jewellery design and retail operation in Vancouver over 50 years ago, which was bought in 1999 by Birks. His jewellery has received international acclaim, from a necklace designed for Queen Elizabeth II to four Diamonds International Awards. The highest sale was a full jewelry set for $250,000. He has served on the Boards of the Vancouver Art Gallery, Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design and the Vancouver Opera.
