Vintage Playboy Braille 1998 Magazine
It's a piece of art and it's Playboy history right here! This is a vintage 1998 braille edition of Playboy. Pictures are part of the description. In the 1980s the magazines was subject to a free speech case. The braille edition of Playboy only translates the journalism from the magazines. It was funded by the Library of Congress' National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, who funded numerous popular magazines for visually impaired readers. Republican Senators Mack Mattingly and Chalmers Wylie succeeded in defunding the Library. Eventually, free speech advocates succeeded in overturning this ruling citing that this defunding was essentially censorship. Vintage cufflinks are not included.
